Taking a piss while out in nature: Do you feel the urge?

I don't know why but if I had my choice I'd piss outdoors all the time. When I'm at home and need to take a piss almost always walk out on the back deck or front porch and take a piss. Anyone else feel the same way?

Yes I do all the time - I never go inside. We have a severe drought here in Australia - even down here in Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia) we are on tank water and if it saves 15 litres of water per flush,  I am going to pee outside.

My response to this discussion:

        I was talking about this the other day with a couple of younger men - who love camping and hiking and who said they always felt great taking a piss while out in nature and the wide open. We agreed that it was almost compelling to take a leak while in the great outdoors.  I think it's an ancestral male behavior - marking our territory like today's canines and our other four-footed brethren- perhaps dating from our primordial pre-human forms as earlier species (enough of that hypothesizing).

       It does feel good to take a piss outdoors - I try to do it at least once a day.   I think that when we are growing up - especially in societies where knowledge or view of bodily functions is suppressed (like puritanical America or some religiously-repressed nations (not to be named)), we don't get a much of a chance to see the hidden and darkly secretive 'word' of the penis/pissing/etc.. so those basic human body functions are shrouded in mystery and probably also get more sexual attachment than they would or should deserve.

  For me, pissing with my friends was a way to share a common sense of our gender  - boys being boys and baring all meant we could also afford to share other things - like our feelings and fears and joys and sometimes pleasures.

 It seems there is a resurgence of sexual fetishism for peeing, pissing, in today's more liberally minded youth - perhaps as a fundamental response to what happened after the first waves of the AIDS epidemic hit the US (and world).   I've heard that because of the need to 'protect' privacy and morals by upholding so-called 'family values', growing boys and girls are less likely to see nude humans bodies in natural setting (gyms, locker rooms, skinny dipping, etc) - the only way they see nakedness is the only associate it with sexual behavior - which is pandemic on the Internet.

 Hey to that guy in Australia. I have a idea that would be HOT! I'd be happy to try a recycling project to help Tasmania survive its current drought - sucking up your body-water and then letting someone do the same back (from me).

       Before you all, cry out 'Gross' - remember Dune (Frank Herbert' sci-fi novel series located on a distant desert planet which was almost completely without water (except collected water vapor).

So the Fremen, the indigenous tribal natives wore body suits (stillsuits) that allowed them to collect and recycle (drink) their own purified urine and body perspiration.

   Actually, I venture to bet that many - if not most guys - have at some time in the lives - probably as maturing teens or pre-teen boys - tried tasting your own piss.

Places for finding sex in public: Cruising areas Part 2

This topic is a frequent one of interest to both gay and bi-curious men, of which the latter are married or involved in relationship with women and thus need some 'male-oriented' sexual release. I have blogged / talked about this many times but as the warmer weather approaches (in the northern hemisphere), thoughts of furtive sexual hunting games and orgiastic and erotic encounters in public places again captures my full attention and brings my (and maybe yours too) to full erection in anticipation of public outdoor sex with anonymous hunks and in reality, most times with regular blokes.

Where do you find the male cruising areas?

The list is not extensive or complete. I am sure many of you can recommend your own favorite gay beach or public cruising area.  Please add any you have enjoyed or know about in a comment below .


Well, it's partly gaydar.. or rather the basic hunting instinct of the male of the species. The place just seems right or you can feel the vibe of the cruisers mentality as you walk down a certain street or alley, enter a public park or seek out a less crowded corner of a local recreation area or beach. Public restrooms figure prominently in these zones of the sexual hunter. Perhaps not simply because they do offer a vehicle for 'semi-public' exposure of one's sexual and, obviously, excretory organs. But it may be the associations, and the fact that men have just handled or are about to touch their own privates which may heighten their sexual awareness of others - particularly the men that are experiencing similar sensuous emotions - even when they can be put in actual words or envisioned in their minds as any kind of defined sexual act.

The ambiance of the gay cruise area may residence in such factors as: location, convenience, proximity to other male or gay-oriented spots (Home Depot's tool department, garden shop and its restrooms may be notorious in this respect), whether or not the male body can be exposed as normally accepted behavior, such as a public or university gymnasium locker room, or public swimming pool, or whether there is some chance of seeing the naked male body or at least parts of it (such as a beach, or sunbathers on grassy lawn in a big city park, or where even more explicit male (and/or female) nudity occurs, such as a strip club, or nude beach or clothing optional resort or camp, or at some public large-group events where nudity may be involved, such as Mardi Gras and Carnival, etc.

Here are some of my recommendations for places to find male-4-male sex (and gay, homoerotic or sexual stimulation or gratification in public places:

Some very large metropolitan parks in major world cities have an unspoken tradition of clandestine public sex. Englischer Garten in Munich’s central park, New York’s Central Park, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, and Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park are all places where (sometimes) and if you only know where to look you can see people (straight and gay couples) having sex. In Tokyo, a few years back, there was a kind of club of guys who made it their hobby to spy on couples making out or fucking or otherwise petting/masturbating each other and attempts to take photos (or at least use night vision binoculars).

Demonstrations sometimes have episodes of public sex: Southern Decadence (gay event at Labor Day in New Orleans), Mardi Gras, (at various locations), Folsom Street Fair, and Dorey Alley Parade, etc… I am inclined to think it might happen at WNBR but I have no evidence to prove it (maybe just wishful thinking).

1)  The dunes of Maspalomas, near Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria, Spain. The Canary Islands are Spanish territories off the coast of Morocco. There is tons of gay semi-public and sometimes heterosexual sex going on in the dunes just behind the large nude beach (FKK) area.



2) There are dozens (if not more) nude beaches around Spain (from Barcelona to Cadiz). Also on the eastern coast of Spain, there are several nude beaches and gay cruising areas. I was pleasantly surprised with I visited Gandia (a university town along the beach about 40 minutes from Valencia) to find a nude beach that also has some gay cruising.  It was located between Gandia and Xeraco,  called Playa De L'Ahuir.

Very often you can expect to see a gay men’s cruising area close by and therefore, sometimes you can view sexual acts by people (supposedly gay men) who either don’t know or who don’t care.

3) Sometimes the parking lots at large beachside resorts become a sexual playground for a few adventure-some couples. Normally, only male-female couples can actually get away with it. But it does happen between men when there are the right circumstances - such as a full moon  or when there is a nude beach nearby.

I watched a mixed race couple (M/F) fuck in the parking lot to Black’s Beach (along with quite a few other people) across from UCSD campus. It was really hot watching a big dick-clubbed black dude butt-pound from behind a white woman with her bikini rolled down her legs, whom he either had just picked up on the nude beach, or with whom he had been ‘overstimulated’ by spending an afternoon out on the nude beach (mixed sexes).

P.S. Due to greater police and ranger patrols, this seems to becoming rarer.

As you have no doubt heard, there are now Women-Only train cars on the some of the public and private train and subway lines in Tokyo - it's an attempt to prevent sexual groping (men abusing women or teenage girls). They operate these cars mainly during peak rush hours. Yet, I wonder if the authorities realize that they may be encouraging male-male groping behavior by reducing the ratio of women on train cars.

When I lived there and travel to Tokyo, I found it somewhat erotic - although more frequently just plain frustrating and irritating -- to be crammed together like sardines in a train car. Especially during morning rush hour, there is invariably a time when your body or someone else's in pressed up against your front, back or side. Most people try to appear oblivious and just pull in their appendages, and bear it (not bare it), but there seem to be quite a few men (both str8 and otherwise) who seem to enjoy it.

I have had my share of being groped or at least rubbed provocatively by Japanese men on trains. Some of it, of course, is completely accidental. However, there were times when it definitely was not so innocent or at least was mutually pleasant -- to put it mildly.

One time I could feel the guys cock rubbing against my leg - I am taller than many Japanese men (altthough younger men are getting taller and taller as the years go by). He was obviously enjoying the sensation because as we rode along and the train just got more crowded, he proceeded to get a full on erection.

Another, I was on the Keio line leaving Shinjuku at night and it was very crowded. A young guy seemed to not only welcome have me pressed up against him, but he turned himself so that our crotches would be pressed together. This wasn't actually either of us groping, but the force of the bodies and the movement of the train keep us both aroused as we were smashed together at the groin.




There is an urban myth among gays in Tokyo that men who are seeking mutual accidental encounters (rubbing, groping or even stealthful mutual masturbation) will congregate in the last car (or is the first car). Once I saw a tall foreign guy in overall apparently getting a hand job from a shorter Japanese man (last car on the Chuo
(Orange) train.

Finally, there used to be a wild event on or near Halloween (Oct 31) on the Yamate train (green circle line around central Tokyo). Each year, hundreds of people in costumes would all meet at Shinjuku station at 9:00pm and then jump all together in the same train (literally filling up the cars like
morning rush hour, then at the next stop, everyone would rush like man to change cars -- sort of like musical chairs. I participated once and ended up being videoed on the national television news (since the media decided to show up and film the event). The JR authorities did NOT appreciate it -- especially since some 'regular' passengers were bumped into or caused inconveniences (like not being able to get off the train).


There was also a lot of trash (beer cans, wigs, and pieces of costumes) left on the trains - because most everybody was drinking or already drunk by the time the wide train parade got going (typically on a Friday or Saturday night). One guy who I befriended while riding this mad Halloween train rush, was wearing nothing but a yukata (casual cotton kimono) and proceeded to show me that he had nothing on underneath it.

Japanese men are not completely bashful - while modest in daily life, they certainly are not adverse to getting their rocks off and men of all persuasions will sometimes have sex in public trysting spots -- called 'hatten basho.' These cruising areas are sometimes in posh locations or in department stores and shopping centers, at public parks, and at the local swimming pools and gyms or sports clubs.
